crossroads rebrand

Crossroads Community Church had a two-fold goal for their rebrand. First, they set out to differentiate the church from many other churches called "Crossroads", as they expand into new geographic regions where brand recognition was not yet present. In addition, the church wanted to more distinctly communicate their unique personality with their brand, in a way that was more ownable and unexpected in the landscape of church branding. The new brand centers around exploring the adventure of faith and following Jesus, allowing the visuals an opportunity  to pull from vintage field guides, imperfectly ripped edges, topographic maps, and a bold new color palette. This project spanned redesigns in every corner of the organization, including branded signage, coffee cups, apparel, influencing the exterior and interior design of the physical buildings, as well as marketing, and print materials.

easter at crossroads

The behind the creative executions for Easter at Crossroads 2021 was to show the power associated with the holiday. As an annual event, this is a great challenge to develop a new way of visualizing the same basic ideas every time. This was an exciting opportunity to create visuals that veer from traditional Easter imagery, and to instead create an unexpected approach. Proposing the direction of the lightning bolt interwoven into modern portraits of the various pieces of the Easter story was a unanimous favorite concept within the team.
